Housewarming gift idea? Back in the day, when people were always on the move, it wouldn't have seemed practical to get a vase for their new home. Plus, different types of flowers need different types of vases. Who's gonna fit it?Well, a good old jar often works as a temporary vase, and that's the main idea behind our design.We got the idea to wrap a bouquet of flowers in parchment, and that led to our flower tube model. Invase is a humorous object that transforms a jar into a 2-function vase, depending on the length and number of flowers. Invase was created from a single thread of heated PLA, and thanks to the optimization of its construction and low filament consumption, we won a great price.
Care
The PLA biomaterial used for 3D prints doesn't like high temperatures. 3D printing involves heating the filament (the material used to make the prints). This means that the dishwasher's high temperatures can damage your Foppa. Also, just like any other material, long exposure to UV rays can change its color.
BIOfilament PLA
The filament we use to produce it (PLA) is obtained from renewable raw materials such as cornmeal, and the material is fully compostable in industrial conditions.
3D printing technology
We chose this technology to produce our synthetic objects because it is considered one of the most sustainable.
